There are a variety of delicious dishes served every Eid. Among them are diamonds and typical side dishes to various sweet-tasting pastries.

These foods are usually served to guests who come to stay in touch. But not all dishes Eid in every house needs to be eaten. If you want to stay healthy and fit, you have to limit your intake of coconut milk, fatty, and high sugar foods.

Eid al-Fitr or Eid al-Fitr is a day of victory where Muslims can eat food freely after a month of fasting. But the portion of the meal must be considered in order to stay healthy.

Don’t be afraid to take a lot of food. Because when we stay in touch, surely the owner of the house will ask us to enjoy the dishes they have prepared.

You have to control the portion of food. If a large plate is provided, then reduce the portion of the meal in half. You can also take each food in small portions, for example 1-2 bites.

2. Avoid Excess Carbs

Ketupat and lontong are synonymous with holiday dishes. Every house must serve ketupat and lontong. These two dishes include a source of carbohydrates.

Carbohydrate consumption is important to pay attention to during Eid. Do not be too crazy to take a lot of rice cake or ketupat. If you have eaten ketupat and rice cake at home, don’t eat them anymore when you visit a neighbor’s or family’s house.

It’s better to choose other foods or just eat typical Eid side dishes. Because ketupat and rice cake are a source of carbohydrates that make the stomach full quickly.
