FABIO Quartararo became the first racer to win pole position at the Indonesian Grand Prix. He became the fastest when participating in the second qualification at the Mandalika Circuit, Lombok, NTB, Saturday (19/3).
The Monster Energy Yamaha racer finished the fastest with a record of 1 minute 31.067 seconds. Meanwhile, Jorge Martin from Pramac Racing will start in second place and will be followed by his teammate Johann Zarco.

Prior to qualifying, Quartararo had poor results in practice sessions, especially those held on Saturday. He only finished in 22nd position in the third session of free practice. Then finished fourth in the fourth training session.
Meanwhile, the one who got bad results during qualifying was Repsol Honda rider Marc Marquez. He fell and failed to participate in the second qualifier. Then he previously also fell during the fourth practice. With that accident, Marquez had to settle for starting the race in 15th position on Sunday (20/3). (OL-7)
