Young Indonesian racers competing in Moto-3 Mario Aji are motivated to give maximum results in the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia series in Mandalika which will be held this weekend. The Honda Team Asia racer hopes to perform well in his own country.
“Please pray and support for Indonesian riders, all riders so that they can make the nation proud and of course we will give our best later,” said Mario Aji, Wednesday (16/3).
In the inaugural Moto-3 series in Losail, Qatar, Mario Aji finished 19th with a time of 38 minutes 29.019 seconds after starting from 25th position.
Mario Aji along with other young Indonesian racers Veda Ega Pratama (Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup) also joined the Moto-GP class racers who met President Joko Widodo today.

Mario Aji appreciated the meeting with the President. Moreover, the meeting also coincided with his birthday, which is now 18 years old.
Mario also asked for support from all Indonesian people for Indonesian racers who participated in the struggle in Mandalika so that they could give the best results and make the nation proud.
“It’s extraordinary, appreciation for Mr. President for inviting Indonesian riders who are also fighting to make the nation proud. Of course, they can be motivated to run this week’s race,” he said. (OL-5)
