Menpora Watches Indonesian Hockey Team Defeat Team Iran 7-0 in Men’s AHF Cup 2022


MINISTER of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Zainudin Amali watched the match between the Indonesian hockey team against Iran which was competing in the Men’s AHF Cup 2022.

The Indonesia vs Iran match took place at the Bung Karno Hockey Field (GBK), Jakarta, Thursday (17/3) night. In this match, the Indonesian hockey team won 7-0.

After the match, Menpora Amali appreciated and conveyed President Joko Widodo’s (Jokowi) warm greetings to the Indonesian hockey team.

“You have to keep your spirits up. President Joko Widodo conveyed his greetings to the Indonesian hockey team. The president should have been there but because he had to go to another place, he assigned me here,” said Minister of Youth and Sports Amali.

Menpora Amali asked the Indonesian hockey team to continue practicing and maintain cohesiveness. Good performance clearly must be maintained.

“You have to really put in a good performance. I will report to the President that you won 7-0 over Iran,” said Menpora Amali.

In addition, Menpora Amali will fully support the Indonesian hockey team. Menpora Amali reiterated that athletes must maintain cohesiveness.

“We will support the Indonesian hockey team in facing the upcoming championships. You guys keep the spirit of practicing and maintain cohesiveness, “explained Menpora Amali.

On the sidelines of giving this motivation, Menpora Amali received a birthday wish from the Indonesian hockey team. They sang happy birthday from the Red and White squad.

Menpora Amali also seemed happy to receive the unexpected surprise. “Thank you all,” said Menpora Amali.
