Miami Heat to Eastern Conference Finals

The MIAMI Heat strolled into the NBA Eastern Conference finals after successfully eliminating the Philadelphia 76ers 99-90 in game six of the semifinals, Friday (13/5) WIB. The Heat have a 4-2 lead over the 76ers and have the right to advance to the regional finals.

This achievement is the second time in the last three years for the Heat. Jimmy Butler was the top scorer in that game with 32 points and seemed to prove the 76ers wrong to ever throw him.

“Jimmy is a great competitor. I think he is one of the main competitors in this profession,” Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said after the game.

Max Strus also scored 20 points and 11 rebounds for the Heat, followed by PJ Tucker with 12 points and 9 rebounds, and Bam Adebayo with 10 points and 8 rebounds.

In the Sixers camp, Joel Embiid scored 20 points and Tyrese Maxey 20 points, and Tobias Harris with 12 points.

In the Eastern Conference finals later, the Heat await the winner between the defending champions Milwaukee Bucks or Boston Celtics. Meanwhile, the Bucks won 3-2.

In the other semifinal in the Western Conference, there was a stiff competition between the Dallas Mavericks and the Phoenix Suns.

The Mavericks beat the Suns 113-86 in the sixth game to level at 3-3 and force a seventh game to determine their place in the final.

Luka Donci was the star of the game scoring 33 points for the Mavericks. Reggie Bullock also scored 19 points and Jalen Brunson 18 points. (OL-4)
