THREE representatives of Indonesia successfully advanced to the semifinals of the 2022 Orleans Masters, in France, which will be played on Saturday (2/4) local time. Men’s singles Christian Adinata will face India’s representative Mithun Manjunath.
In the women’s singles sector, Putri Kusuma Wardani will face Line Hojmark Kjaersfeldt of Denmark. As for the mixed doubles, Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Lisa Ayu Kusumawati will face the Malaysian pair Roy King Yap/Teoh Mei Xing.
Christian Adinata penetrated the semifinals after getting rid of the host badminton player Arnaud Merkle. Christian won through a fierce rubber game 10-21, 21-18, and 21-16.

Meanwhile, Putri Kusuma defeated players from Estonia, Kristin Kuuba, with two straight games 21-5, 21-17.
The mixed doubles pair Rehan/Lisa managed to win over the mixed doubles from other countries, Anton Kaisti (Finland)/Alzbeta Basova (Czech) 21-18, 21-10.
In the other quarter-final match, the non-pelatnas mixed doubles Akbar Bintang Cahyono/Marsheilla Gischa Islami had to lift their suitcases after being defeated by the host pair Fabien Delrue/Vimala Heriau 9-21, 15-21. (OL-1)
