Unfit conditions, Marc Marquez Absent from Racing in Mandalika


Repsol Honda racer, Marc Marquez, decided not to take part in the Indonesian MotoGP competition at the Mandalika Circuit, NTB, on Sunday (20/3).

Repsol Honda manager Alberto Puig revealed that his unfit body condition forced Marquez to miss the opportunity to appear at Mandalika.

Previously, the Spaniard had an accident, while participating in a warming up session a few hours before the race started. He was even rushed to a hospital in the Mataram area.

Not long after, Marquez returned to the circuit. However, it looks like there is a bandage on his right hand. “As we know, this weekend Marquez has fallen 3 times and the last one was quite severe. It’s not a good idea to take part in the race. So, we will miss the Indonesian GP,” explained Puig.

Therefore, Marquez will soon return to Barcelona, ​​Spain. The driver will undergo a special examination. “Hopefully there will be good news within the next 24 hours,” he added.
